Crabtree to become Minsterman ?

Dolan : Long time admirer.
Lynams Director of Football Ol Crabtree is being courted by a top North Yorkshire Football team.
York City FC Manager Terry Dolan (pictured) has invited Crabtree to train with the club sometime during the month of April. It is believed Dolan and Asst Adie Shaw have visited Newcastle numerous times to watch Crabtree in action and witnessed the Lynams recent 11 - 0 win over Team 29 during which Crabtree scored. Former York Coach and ex-AC Milan striker Luther Blisset is known to have been a long time admirer of the player and indeed recommended Crabtree to the club back in July after watching Npower Northern crush Accenture 11-0.
Any possible deal would be after the March 27th transfer deadline but as Crabtree is not contracted to any club at present the FA would sanction any possible deal.
Dolan said of the player "We've asked him down to have a look at him next month, he could certainly be an asset as we push for promotion." York currently lie 5th in Division 3 and Crabtree is seen as the perfect compliment to striker Jon Parkin who enjoys: missing chances, wild goal celebrations and pushing players also. On paper it looks like a match made in heaven.
